THE JAKADA JUICE STORY...

Jakada Juice is a family-run business that began in Brooklyn in 2006.  Jakada, my eldest son, was born at home in 2004 and inspired me to follow my passion for natural foods.  As a former school teacher and coach, I would often conduct wellness classes that used nature’s ‘dessert,’ fruit, as a hook for young people to understand the importance of proper nutrition.  Toward this effort I began including juicing and fruit smoothie-making in the classroom for a hands-on experience for my students.  Based on my student’s responses, encouragement from my colleagues, family as well as the prevalence of ultra-processed/super sweetened beverages (i.e. high fructose corn syrup), I decided to start this business.  While almost everyone loves lemonade, who wants to squeeze all those lemons each time you want some?   Who needs all that processed sugar?  Let us squeeze the lemons for you!   With Jakada Juice you get the benefits of fresh lemon juice, 100%  natural fruit flavors and a less processed natural sweetener.  We are committed to producing the freshest best tasting natural juices on the market.
